A new beginning

I think that a lot of people in life have the desire to start over.
People make mistakes.
Things happen.
LIFE happens.
I don't think I was necessarily looking for a new beginning.
I just wanted to get married.
But here I am.
The year is 2014.
I'm married to my best friend.
Living in the unknown of California.
With only my husband and in-laws as my friends.
And I am living 647 miles away from my family, something I've never done before.
My life hasn't been erased.
I haven't forgotten the things of my past.
But here I am in a completely new place.
Starting my very own new beginning.
Many people have asked if I am going to keep a blog of mine and Jarom's experiences.
And so here I am starting a new blog.
This is the story of my life.
The story that starts from my marriage 4 months (tomorrow) ago.
Jarom and I were married on September 14, 2013.
We spent a wonderful week in San Diego, CA for our honeymoon.
After which we drove 9 or so hours north to a little town called Gridley, CA.
Our new home for the first month and half of marriage.
Jarom is from Northern California and wanted to come back after getting married.
His brother Caleb is currently in the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Jarom decided months ago that that was also something he would like to do.
So after living my whole life in Mormonville, Utah,
I picked up my whole life and followed my husband to live in Northern California.
The unknown was in my future.
We are currently living in Yuba City, working as Substitute teachers, and patiently enduring the long, drawn out process of the highway patrol application process.
We spend many hours together laughing, watching movies, and just being goofy.
We see his family as much as we can.
And I look forward to every opportunity that I can to go back to visit Utah to see the Jensen Clan.
I hope to keep up this blog mostly to keep a record of our saga together and so those who live 647+ miles away from us can be a little bit more in touch with our lives.
So for now, this will have to do.
Until I write again.
